Types of Temporary Resident Visas:

Investor’s Visa

Digital Nomad Visa

• Requirements: Provide services outside of Ecuador and have earned a minimum of USD 1,275 per month in the last three months or a total of USD 15,300 over the past year.

Retirement Visa

• Requirements: Must be at least 65 years old with a $1,275 per month. Additionally, you must have an extra $250 for each dependent.

Professional’s Visa

• Requirements: A degree from a recognized university and a job offer or contract from an Ecuadorian company.

Regular renewal of your visa is essential to maintain your legal status in Ecuador. After living in Ecuador for 21 months on a Temporary Resident Visa, you can apply for a Permanent Resident Visa.
